Established in 2010, MMG Financial Advisory has helped companies in a variety of industries achieve their goals. Working with organizations and teams of various sizes, our PE-experienced consultants work hand-in-hand with company management to bridge companies through transition.

Our Team

Allison Zabransky

Founder & Senior Managing Director, CPA, MBA

With over 27 years of financial advisory experience with private equity, international consulting firms and private industry, Allison has spent the last 15 years helping mid-market, private equity, or VC-backed companies improve their finance operations. She founded MMG on the premise that a solid finance department provides the tools and processes needed to help leadership identify and manage EBITDA enhancing initiatives.

Allison spent 5 years in the distressed assets group of American Capital, 5 years working as a Finance Operating Executive with Riverside Company’s mid-market fund and was a Managing Director for FTI Consulting’s Turnaround and Restructuring Services group. Allison began her career as an auditor for KPMG and has also managed valuations and buy- and sell-side transactions for a boutique investment bank and evaluated acquisition opportunities and managing the integration of newly acquired subsidiaries for an $800 million publicly traded industrial company. Allison received her MBA from Emory University and earned a BS degree in business with an accounting emphasis from Wake Forest University, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class.

Andrew Gracia

Director – Accounting Services, CPA

Drew is an experienced accounting professional with almost fifteen years of accounting and audit experience. He has held a variety of in-house accounting positions at both PE-backed and private companies and is strong with financial reporting, month-end close management, and accounting for acquisitions, divestitures and consolidations.  He has extensive experience with ERP implementations, establishing and refining accounting processes, and GAAP compliance. He’s also an experienced user of Oracle and has advanced excel skills. He began his career as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche. Recent consulting work includes preparing financial analysis to support a sale process and various QofE’s.  Drew has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in finance from Villanova University.

Candis White

Accounting Consultant

Beginning career as an auditor for two “Big 4” firms” Candis has more than 15 years of finance and consulting experience. Prior to joining MMG, she was the senior fund accountant at Trident Trust where she provided full cycle accounting, performed Net Asset Value testing, budget monitoring and analysis, internal controls analysis, process improvement, and staff training. Candis provided financial support as a consultant to lower middle market businesses, including account reconciliations, payroll, financial reporting, chart of account management annual 1099 filings, and worked with tax CPAs in preparation for year-end tax filings

Candis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Rutgers University.

Denise Phillips

Director – Accounting Services

An accomplished CPA with cross‐functional experience in all phases of accounting, finance, audit/internal controls, acquisitions, budget, and tax for multiple industries, Denise has spent over 20 years providing tax, audit, accounting, systems conversions, and consulting services for a variety of industries.

Most recently the Controller for a PE-backed packaging/wholesale HBC & OTC drug company, she implemented policies, procedures, and internal controls that enabled the sale of the company at a significant profit during the height of the pandemic. She then assisted the new owners with five major cost savings initiatives as well as the integration of two ERP systems.

Denise also has experience in process analysis, due diligence & QofE, add-on integration, enhanced data analysis and automation, GL design, bringing teams together, driving forward thinking and automation.

Denise has her bachelor’s in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University Northwest.

Jared Kostick

Managing Director

Jared has nearly 20 years in corporate accounting, auditing, and financial consulting experience. He has renegotiated lender debt to improve liquidity, restructured back-office functions and procedures yielding significant cost savings, updated and expanded ERP capabilities, built a forecasting tool for a highly seasonal business, and drove improvements in close cycle and data quality.

Throughout his career, Jared has served in financial leadership positions (CFO and VP Finance) and has been a trusted financial advisor to companies across a broad spectrum of industries.  Earlier in his career, he spent 10 years in transaction services helping to identify key revenue and cost drivers and develop integration plans to drive cost saving synergies. Jared holds a BS in Accounting from the University at Albany.

Jon Bindert

Director of Accounting Services

A seasoned financial professional with over a decade of experience in the industry, Jon is committed to driving growth and financial stability for the companies he has served. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his ability to lead, manage, and motivate teams. He built out multiple accounting teams, integrated several acquisitions, improved financial reporting and helped a company through the sales process.

Before joining MMG Financial Advisory, Jon served as the Controller for Proprietors Capital Holdings leading integration efforts on acquisitions of portfolio companies and restructuring accounting teams. He performed analysis to achieve $800k in additional EBITDA from increasing sales prices.

Prior to Proprietors Capital Holdings, Jon served as the VP of Finance at Work Shop Colorado, where he played a key role in managing the financial planning and budgets for eight companies with a consolidated revenue of $60 million. Jon’s efforts were instrumental in renegotiating a $15 million loan commitment, increasing unsecured credit by $200k, and implementing a financial reporting software to streamline the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements. He was also responsible for managing all outstanding loans, up to 25 at a time, and restructuring the accounting system to track job costs and evaluate job profitability.

In his role as Corporate Controller at National Fire & Safety, Jon built the accounting system for the organization’s newly formed parent company, integrating two acquired companies as subsidiaries, and preparing consolidated financial reporting packages on a monthly basis.

Jon obtained his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls.

Jordan Needles

Director – Accounting Services, CPA

Jordan shares his more than 17 years of accounting experience by providing FP&A support to PE backed companies.  He’s built numerous reporting packages, helped implement accounting systems – including building custom Intacct reporting, provided support in the monthly close process, documented internal controls, performed in-depth data analytics, built 13-week cash flow models, and prepared first year budgets and monthly forecast models.

Formerly a controller at a cabinet hardware company, Jordan also worked with CMF Associates, a consulting firm specializing in placing interim accounting professionals where he consulted for private equity-owned businesses, working on several projects as an interim controller or interim FP&A analyst. Jordan spent the first six years of his career as an auditor for Deloitte. Jordan has a Masters of Accountancy from Utah State University.

Katie Koerber

Director – Accounting Services, CPA, MBA

Katie is a senior accounting professional with over twenty years of consulting and audit experience. She has managed US and Japanese Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) projects, internal audits, and financial audits, as well as performed due diligence and other technical accounting work for small to large public companies. Katie has worked for several major audit and internal audit consulting firms including Protiviti, Mazars, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Recent project work includes: Assessment of internal controls and close process, internal audit and audit preparation and support, accounting research, and transaction due diligence, including proof of cash and quality of earnings. Katie has a BA in Political Science and French from the College of Holy Cross and an MBA in Accounting from Northeastern University.

Kim Long

Interim CFO Resource

Kim has almost 30 years finance, accounting, and consulting experience. Prior to joining MMG Kim spent the last 9 years as a financial consultant for middle market companies where she specialized in blending tactical accounting and strategic financial guidance, with a focus on the finance, accounting, contract review, and financial planning & analysis. Prior to that she was the head of finance for Core180, Inc. a telecommunications company, where she helped grow the company from $24 million in revenue to over $70 million in 3 years.

Kim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from George Mason University.

Lauren Matty

Accounting Manager

Lauren is an Accounting manager with over 20 years experience working with companies in the construction, financial services and non-profit sector. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management & Finance and a MBA from Ashland University.

Mary Pat Grespin

Director - Accounting Services

Mary Pat has over 30 years of corporate accounting, auditing, and financial consulting experience. During her career, she has been responsible for multiple successful private equity transactions and developing accounting best practices for start-ups. She has also managed a migration to a new ERP system. Prior to joining MMG, Mary Pat was the Controller at n2y, LLC, a SaaS company in the educational space, where she was responsible for establishing all internal controls & processes, Treasury Management, Budgeting, Company Metrics, and the Audit and Tax Preparation. During her time at n2y Mary Pat helped the Company grow from a start-up to nearly $100M in revenue.

Mary Pat holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Miami University.

Tim Tuttle

Sr. Managing Director – CFO Services

Tim has led financial operations as a CFO and consultant to the private equity industry for over 20 years. With in-depth experience in finance, acquisitions and integrations, and profitability and performance analysis, he brings value to private equity and venture capital firms by driving critical transformations within their portfolio companies.

Tim was most recently the CFO of Relevate Health where he led the company through a private equity exit, followed by three add-on investments. Tim leverages his expertise in strategy and business development to lead companies through buy side and sell side transactions, upgrading internal systems, and building better reporting capabilities to meet PE expectations. He has extensive experience in building budget and rolling forecast models, as well as GAAP reporting compliance.

Tim earned his BS in Accounting from Miami University and is credentialed as a CPA (inactive) and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Yash Sinha

Financial Planning and Analysis, CPA

Yash is an experienced finance and operations professional with over 10 years of progressive experience. Throughout his career, he has aided organizations in a variety of areas, including, commercial strategy, creating sound internal finance and accounting practice, operational management & reporting, and supporting vision actualization with robust data and analytics. Yash is a key partner to leadership teams due to his ability to pinpoint business needs and execute realistic solutions. Prior to joining MMG, Yash was the Director of Finance and Operations at Dominion Aesthetic Technologies, Inc., assisting with the commercialization of their novel robotic medical device, and helping the C-Suite raise $35.7M in equity & debt financing. Yash is experienced in reducing operating/project costs, developing financial forecasting and reporting systems, establishing standard operating procedures, and custom ERP design and implementation.

Yash holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas, San Antonio.
